The old way, honestly
Bradley would come back from a kitchen-table appointment with a signed proposal and a roof he had measured off a ladder in the heat, and half the time the numbers needed a second look before the order went in. Mark would get a claim file with a PDF somebody else measured and spend half an hour redrawing the roof in Xactimate® before he could price a single line item. Two problems, one root: the measurement was the slowest, most manual, most error-prone step in the whole job, and it was on the ladder.
The new way: type the address, get the roof
Now the measurement is a form field. Enter the street address at Sketch My Roof, pick the report, and it is delivered the same calendar day on orders placed before 6 PM Eastern. For Bradley's retail bids that means a PDF with the measurements in hand before he is back in the truck. For Mark's claims it means an ESX file that opens in Xactimate® with the roof sketch and measurements already there, so he is pricing instead of drawing.
The menu is flat and published: Standard ESX $19, Complex-roof ESX $25, PDF $25, ESX + PDF $29, wall reports $45 to $65. No subscription, no monthly minimum, no rush fee for same-day. Any property in the United States or Canada. Every report is reviewed before delivery, and revisions are at no charge, in writing.
What it did to the shop
Ladder trips for measurement went to zero, which in a Memphis July is a safety and a morale issue as much as a time issue. Bradley bids more houses in a storm week because twenty addresses is twenty reports and no climbing. Mark's estimates go out the same day the claim comes in, and the file has a clean PDF exhibit attached. And the slow months cost us nothing, because there is no plan to carry between storms.
It is also, not coincidentally, the tool at the top of our board and our 2027 Best Roof Measurement Company. We did not build the rubric to make it win. We built the rubric out of what our shop actually paid for, and it won.
Who this is for
Any roofing shop that does insurance work, any adjuster who needs the roof in Xactimate® without a site visit, any retail crew that bids more houses than it can climb. If you have never ordered one, try one roof: $19, same day, and see what your afternoon looks like when nobody is on the ladder with a tape.
