What goes in the claim file

The ESX is for the estimate. Import it into Xactimate® and the roof sketch and measurements are in the estimate, so squares, ridge, hip, valley, eave, and rake lengths flow into line items instead of being typed. Order the XML instead if the desk writes in Symbility®.

The PDF is for the file. It is the exhibit the desk reviewer, the insured, and the insured's contractor will look at. Attach it and the measurements are on the record.

Walls ($45 to $65) when the claim covers siding, so the elevations are measured the same way the roof was.

How it fits the claim workflow

Claim comes in with an address. Order by address before 6 PM Eastern. Report delivers the same calendar day. Import the ESX, attach the PDF, write the estimate, close the file. No site visit is required on your end to get the report, which on a CAT queue is the difference between clearing the desk and carrying it.

Desks that order inside Xactimate® or XactAnalysis® can use the Xactimate® Integration and have the report land back in the workflow.

Why we trust it in a file

Every report is reviewed before delivery, and revisions are at no charge, in writing. That is why a nineteen-dollar report is something we will put our name next to on a claim: the price is the menu, and the review before delivery is the standard.

Public reviews run to the same themes we see: speed, cost, accuracy, communication.

Who orders it

Staff adjusters and independents, restoration contractors writing supplements, IA firms, and roofing shops whose insurance jobs live in Xactimate®. Any property in the United States or Canada.

Mark ThomasInsurance side

The file needs the ESX and the PDF. That is it. Nineteen and twenty-five, or twenty-nine for both, same day, and the written revision policy is what lets me sleep on it.

Bradley Miller
Bradley MillerRetail side

When one of my retail leads turns into a claim, I hand it to Mark and he has the report the same day. I do not have to understand the file. I just have to know it is handled.

Order a claim report at sketchmyroof.com ESX $19, PDF $25, both $29. Same calendar day.
